Sam Mitchell is a talented and passionate drummer, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Stratford upon Avon. Sam is now a student of drum performance at the British Institute of Modern Music. He has previously spent two years studying and performing Jazz at Birmingham Royal Conservatoire.
Sam has been a musician most of his life. He has more musical experience under his belt than most people of the same age. His influences come from a range of artists and genres but people like Dave Grohl and John Bonham have had a special impact on his playing. He has racked up endless live and studio performances and played his first studio session at the age of 13.
Sam loves nothing more than talking music and sharing knowledge. His calm and patient teaching style is particularly appreciated by students lacking confidence or experience.
