Eric has been playing the guitar since the age of 13. He has a BTEC award in popular music which he attained in Coventry. Music has always been the love of his life and he has played guitar and bass with many different kinds of bands. One of the highlights of his musical journey was playing at the Wembley Country festival in 1977.
Due to a medical condition in 2012, Eric had to diversify. The ukulele became his instrument of choice due to it’s lightness and small size. He’s gained experience and played the ukulele in various places, including festivals at Warwick, Cheltenham, Huddersfield. He’s even played in Australia, playing at the Ukulele festival at Newcastle in New South Wales. He is an active participant in the activities of several Ukulele groups in the Stratford area.
