Eloise has had a passion for music and performance from a very young age. She was given her first Guitar at the age of 9 and she has not stopped since. Eloise has spent her years developing her craft as a musician and playing many different genres of music. From Blues to ‘Indie’ rock, from Death Metal to Soul. She finds herself drawn to ‘indie’ and Blues Rock mostly. She has studied the different guitar techniques and skills which are associated with the genres specifically, during her diploma.
Along with Guitar, Eloise has also learnt the drums for many years. This allows her to understand the different key roles and responsibilities of different instruments within a band.
Eloise has used her 12 years of guitar experience to perform in a variety of different venues and shows throughout West Midlands and London with her band, Blue Lotus. She has also worked as a session guitarist, filling in for band members who need a rhythm or lead guitarist last minute. She also spends her time ghost writing for other artists as well as releasing her own music on SoundCloud.
Eloise loves putting on a show! Especially when it gives her an opportunity to “Rock around” on stage and have fun with her band. She is so passionate about helping students overcome confidence issues and their struggles with anxiety on stage, because she knows just how hard it can be to suffer with stage fright. A big tip she uses a lot before performing is “Turn nerves into excitement!”
Eloise has achieved her subsidiary and extended Diploma for Music Performance from Access To Music and is currently studying her BA (Hons) for Guitar and Music Business at BIMM institute. She is more than happy to share the knowledge!
